With the support and generosity of the people of Cumbria, we have managed to continue our lifesaving work for the last 25 years. However, we are always looking at new ways to raise funds and to get people involved in our work to ensure the future sustainability of the charity.
We would love you to get involved and here are a few ways how?
We are always looking for volunteers to get involved with Beep (Basics) Cumbria.
We want to attend more events to spread the word about the life-saving work that we do, however, we do not always have enough people to attend the events we would like. Could you spare the odd Saturday to help man the Beep stand, talk to the public and help raise awareness of our charity?
Perhaps you are a doctor who wants to get involved. We would love to expand our team further and into other areas of Cumbria, particularly South Cumbria and SW Cumbria. We can provide enhanced training and equipment to help you become one of the BEEP Doctors team.
We need to raise funds to ensure the future sustainability of Beep (Basics) Cumbria. We are often given donations, but people often raise funds for us too.
Perhaps you would like to take on a personal challenge, such as running a marathon, a bungee jump or fire-walk? Maybe you would prefer to have your legs waxed, sit in a bath of cold beans, or hold a duck race? Why not hold a bake sale, dinner dance or auction? Or perhaps put on a sponsored walk at school, a no uniform day in the office or we could be your charity of the year?
Whatever you would like to do please get in touch to see how we can support you. We very much appreciate the time and effort our supporters put in to raising funds and be rest assured that every penny you raise will go back into helping save the lives of the local community in Cumbria.
We still very much value your support and fundraising activities and every penny raised goes into running this vehicle, paying for its equipment and covering the costs of training the doctors doing this work. By supporting us, you are helping to save lives in our local community.
